About

The film is about a summer creativity workshop in which elementary school children learn how to make films. The film presents some of the processes involved in both live-action and animated film-making by showing the children at work on their individual and group film projects. The film includes many of the children's films as well as a documentation of the workshop. It shows the creativity the children express in their films and the excitement and enthusiasm with which they make films. The workshop was conducted by Susan O'Brien at Ortega Elementary School in Austin, Texas in the summer of 1971.
