Neither Day, Nor Night (2015) color, 25 min

Genre: Experimental

Keywords: multicultural

A visual essay, with feeling from being embedded in a place, a foreign place that is both wonderfully beautiful and an abysmal war zone, the occupied territory of Palestine. The video quotes Jalal Toufic from his book "Vampires: an Uneasy Essay on the Undead in Film" drawing parallels between the familiar tropes of the undead with the lives of Palestinians: refugees between worlds, yearning for their original soil, in limbo, lost in the labyrinth. Neither Day, Nor Night is a companion piece to the video installation Kissing Point.
