Scissors (1967) 16mm, black and white, 5 min

Genre: Documentary

Keywords: Art & Artists

Kitchen scissors live out a dream life against a strange cardboard land (sea?) scape. They metamorphose from toenail clippers into giant shears. They eat cardboard discs and make love for a living. Occasionally they get eaten by the most horrible monster ever to appear in an animated film. The sound track is a mix of an original track by the film-maker and electronic score by Sidney Hodkinson of Ann Arbor. --K. D.
