Songbird is a Gothic tale about Isabella, who finds herself trapped in an oppressive marriage with her drunken oaf of a husband, Walter. One night at the dinner table her songbird won't stop chirping, which sends Walter into a rage. Only when he threatens to take away the one thing she loves does Isabella find the strength to fight back with gruesome tenacity.
