Biography

Ashley Ellis is a writer and filmmaker who tells stories to inspire empathy and agency for a global audience. Ashley founded Emerald City Arts, a visual media studio where like-minded artists create thought provoking original content, and her work has screened at film festivals and programming throughout the country. Ashley draws inspiration from literature, cinema, and music... history, her adventures, and el surrealismo. Most of her work is an attempt to expose humanity's faults, contradictions, idiosyncrasies and beauty.
