Biography
Beth Block received her BFA in art from Kent State University and her MFA in film from Cal Arts. Her 16mm experimental and documentary films have been screened internationally and are included in the collections of the Library of Congress and the Canadian Film Board. She has worked professionally in the film industry throughout her career, first doing optical effects for films includingTerminator2, Altered States and Wolfen, and more recently as a digital compositing artist creating visual effects for motion pictures including Astronaut Farmer, Looney Tunes: Back in Action, The Sponge Bob Square Pants Movie, and James and the Giant Peach.
