Biography
Erin Smith is a filmmaker living in Southern California.
As part of activist video collective, Paper Tiger Television, she has collaborated on social documentaries and has since built video departments for creative organizations from the ground up as well as directed and edited commercial projects.
Her Masters thesis film, "Thunderbird's Nest", premiered at Anthology Film Archives in 2013. The film compelled Werner Herzog to accept her into his Rogue Film School where she planted seeds for the film she's just completed: "Lie Low and Sing Small". The film also stars her father, with whom she has made several short films.
