Biography

Fabio Roberti studied film at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He was part of the early Eighties, East Village, underground, independent film scene. Along with several friends and filmmakers, Fabio formed Directart Productions, Ltd. -- A film collective, producing a number of performance-based films through the 1980s and early 1990s. Robot Movie has been entered into the Museum of Modern Art's Permanent Film Collection.
