Grace Blessington (born 2000, Milwaukee, WI) is a Brooklyn based experimental filmmaker, visual artist, and recent graduate from Parsons School of Design. With her roots in fashion design alongside a passion for nature, Grace’s projects tend to spotlight ambiguous interpretations of the female form in abstract environments. Her senior thesis project at Parsons involved a 16mm film about the body interacting with natural structures, presented on a dimensional sculpted screen. Her work has been noted by a variety of establishments; Adobe Creative Cloud, Shopify, and the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library to name a few. She currently works as a full time graphic designer and video editor at Prep for Prep, a non-profit providing educational and professional resources for young students of color.
