Jason Duval studied photography and painting at Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, and earned his MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He lives and works in New York City and Buffalo, New York. Working in analog film, photography, and painting, Duval explores the expressive potential of asbtract form and poetic narratives, with specific attention to painterly materiality and pictorial structure.
