Biography
Jay Wright's films are carried by Museo d'Nacional de Arte in Mexico MUNAL, by the Vatican Contemporary, by NMAC Montemedio Arte Contemporaneo in Spain by the Pompidou. He has been nominated for a Guggenheim and invited to Arsenal at the Berlin Film Festival and also to the Florence Biennial. He has won numerous "Best of Fest" awards. He was mentored by Lawrence Jordan, Ernie Gehr, Gunvor Nelson, and George Kuchar, and has a BFA in Film.
Jay Wright's work has been published with more than a dozen literary presses including Windriver Press's The Paumanok Review and Duct Tape Press. His work has appeared in the Biennial of Poetry and Video at MUNAL and he has had readings at the legendary City Lights Bookstore in San Francisco. His first novel, "King of Siam" was published by Duct Tape Press.
