Biography

Jeffrey Cyphers Wright is a publisher, critic, eco-activist, impresario, singer/songwriter, filmmaker, and artist, perhaps best known as a New Romantic, post-surrealist poet. He has also made a dozen films including The Key Ceremony, on which he collaborated with Lili White. He is currently working on an autobiographic film for the New York Public Library.

Wright ran Cover Magazine for 15 years. He is now Editor of Live Mag! He  hosts numerous events in New York at La Mama, KGB, and Howl!. He’s currently working on a biographic film for New York Public Library, directed by Luigi Cazzaniga.
