Biography

Kinga Syrek is a Polish film director and a PhD candidate at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, Poland. She has been honored with „The Diamond Grant”, which is granted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland, for her project: „Immersion in an animated film”.

Her debut film ”Too Late” has been screened at numerous film festivals including Academy Award-qualifying Raindance Film Festival and Kraków Film Festival. ”Too Late” has won The Best Animation at the Grand OFF World’s Best Independent Short Film Awards and screened during the 50th ”Ciao! Manhattan” event at the Roxy Cinema NY
