He writes, directs, and edits films that explore in form and content the ongoing American identity of displacement. John Ford's "Young Mr. Lincoln" made in 1939 is based on a court case that centers on a distant relative of his from 1858. Don't hesitate in labeling him as a "nepo" baby then.
