Biography
Michael McCurdy is a filmmaker from the small towns of Central Illinois, now based in Los Angeles. He writes, directs, and edits films that explore in form and content the ongoing American identity of displacement. John Ford's "Young Mr. Lincoln" made in 1939 is based on a court case that centers on a distant relative of his from 1858. Don't hesitate in labeling him as a "nepo" baby then.
