Biography

Nicky Hamlyn is a British filmmaker, artist and published author working in Structural film. He has been making films for three decades. His book, Film Art Phenomena (2003), is published by the British Film Institute. He has also co-edited, with A.L.Rees and Simon Payne, a collection of essays on the Austrian film-maker Kurt Kren, Kurt Kren: Structural Films (Intellect Books, 2016).
