Dialogue with Che

Newly Restored Double Projection Preserved with an Avant-Garde Masters Grant through the National Film Preservation Foundation.

The Film-Makers’ Cooperative has now completed the National Film Preservation Foundation Avant-Garde Masters grant for the restoration of the 16mm film Dialogue with Che (1968) by Jose Rodriguez-Soltero. As part of the preservation, we have transcribed, translated and created both English and Spanish language subtitles.  Premiered Dialogue with Che on September 22-24, 2017 as the focus of “Cine experimental en America Latina” at RedCat CalArts’ Downtown Center for Contemporary Arts.
