Description
Join cinemóvil and the Film-Makers' Cooperative on Friday, June 2nd, 2023, at 7pm, at the FMC Screening Room (475 Park Avenue South, 6th Floor) as we root through 50 years of experimental filmmaking on nature and the living environment in the FMC/NACG catalogue!
This screening will be paired with an audience discussion exploring the following questions: what does it mean for city-dwellers to view images of nature? How has the legacy of "experimental" film constructed images and ideas of "nature"? What happens when we watch images of nature, and what are the personal and sociopolitical dimensions of its capture and exhibition?
