Join us at The Film-Makers' Cooperative (475 Park Avenue South, 6th Floor) on Thursday, September 4th, 2025, at 7pm, for a program of films by longtime FMC member Holly Fisher, curated by Giovanni Santia and introduced by Emma Claire Foley.
Holly Fisher’s career as a filmmaker has spanned nearly six decades. These films, made between 1977-1987, build on the baseline of disciplined observation, complex overheard sound, and experiments with structured self-revelation of the filmmaker at work that characterized her earliest films. Through increasingly complex experiments with editing and sound collage, Fisher creates visceral, layered documents of perception.
