Her Gaze is a series curated by Erica Schreiner and Matt McKinzie that foregrounds the work of women filmmakers and video artists who perform for their own cameras, thereby redefining the female gaze through self-directed acts of looking and being looked at. Our first program screened on December 5th, 2025, and we are excited to screen new works in this series this spring!
For the next installment of Her Gaze, we are thrilled to present seven groundbreaking film and video works by Barbara Rosenthal, Benja Thompson, Erica Schreiner, Laurie Anderson, Lynne Sachs, MM Serra, and Stephanie Beattie!
