3% VISION indicates a severe limit to perception, where dark and light, bustle and calm, murmur and din are measured on an inconceivably thin margin. In this spare, concentrated work, a composer and a visual artist operate on separate yet intersecting paths to create a video which depicts the chasm between one man and the rest of the sighted, passing world. This synthesis of music and moving image is bare and stripped to essentials. It presents fleeting images of an individual, fragile and surrounded, who perseveres in the undertow of an impervious social current.
