Seeking

A young girl (with the body of a woman and the mind of a child) goes for a walk with her favorite companion, a toy pelican. A derelict, sleeping in the gutter, awakens and gives chase. He follows the girl to a dead-end street only to have her escape in an elevator. He picks up her trail again and startles her by offering a lollipop. Panic-stricken, the girl fleews with derelict in breathless pursuit; it ends in a violent struggle. What follows makes up the surprise finish and the true objektivity of the derelict's seeking.–G. G.
