Swimming Upstream2019

“Swimming Upstream” is short, animated, off-beat musical film created and edited entirely on a mobile phone (iPhone 7 plus) It incorporates originally created video/motion art & hand drawn animation, is non-narrative and is a metaphorical dream-sequence. The singer/songwriter portrays the dreamer in this metaphorical and musical dreamscape. 
     

   Sometimes life feels like we are swimming upstream; a test in determination and tenacity and is played out in our dreams. Reaching for another shape like words making their way through dreams, perhaps, life —in its complexity, makes a surreal experience after all.
