Pathways2007

Origionally created as an installation which required the viewer to walk beneath the projector, activating the film that would loop continuously. While the viewer's position could remain static after activating the installation, the film displayed various methods of moving from a fixed vantage point. This placed the veiwer in a position fluctuating between represented space and actual space: within the film, behind the camera, and among the installation and gallery itself. The film was conceived and shot during the Artists at the Armory residency, Sydney Olympic Park, Australia in 2007.
