Cloud Dance1980

N.B. Special rental fee of $30.00 if scheduled for the same show date as SPACE CITY. Features Andy de Groat performing in :Four-Armed Cloud, a translucent maze of over 13,000 linen threads by Lenore Tawney installed at the New Jersey State Museum. The dance, improvised for the camera, was edited to create a flow across cuts of discontinuous movements. The technique of relational editing was combined with the use of blackouts to result in a strong visual rhythm that heightens the connection between the dance, the poetry and the music.
