Biography
Anne Katrine Senstad is a cross disciplinary visual artist who has since the 90s created over 25 experimental short films, video art works and film based light and color installations that have been exhibited at museums, institutions, galleries, new media and film festivals. As a young artist and cinema projectionist in her native Norway, she expanded to 16 mm film editing and cinematography in New York.
Her narrative work involves process, documentation of her socially engaged projects and stream of consciousness as vehicle. She collaborates with composer JG Thirlwell on a number of her films, merging music and visuals.
