Biography
Jude Rawlins is an Anglo-Irish filmmaker, musician, writer, and artist based in the US. He was born in Birmingham, England in 1972. He was well-known in London as the singer, guitarist and songwriter in the band Subterraneans from 1992 to 2017, and as guitarist in the Lene Lovich Band. His films include Albion Rising, Songs of Alchemy, Faust (unfinished), Little Johnny Jewel, Dream Time, Mania, and Isolation. His mentors include Derek Jarman, Chantal Akerman, and Werner Herzog. He is married to American actress Rebecca Haroldson, and was previously married to Dahlia Schweitzer, professor of film at FIT in New York.
