Biography
Melisa Aller was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In recent years, she has been working particularly in the super 8 format, filming and editing all in camera without any intervention from the digital. In 2015 she filmed her first feature film, called "Formal Decisions," about a trans girl. It was filmed chronologically using 22 rolls of film, which are spliced together. Her Super 8 films have been selected and awarded in festivals and exhibitions of the United States, China, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Spain, Poland, England, Italy, Guatemala, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela and Argentina.
