Biography

Sol Rubin worked as a bookbinder, photographer, and filmmaker. Rubin was born in 1916 in Poland. He immigrated to the United States with his parents and siblings in 1934. They settled in the Lower East Side neighborhood of Manhattan, New York. He was a member of the Workmen’s Circle.
