About
The film focuses on the relation between image and sound. A movement through space and emptiness describes a state of desire. –C. K.
"The material's state of aggregation corresponds: the moving visual surfaces which each time form a different image together, two bows that draw out the cello's full range in constantly varying colour nuances. The camera keeps moving through a hall and different spaces, now and then coming across the cellist who is playing - the illusion of recording is enervating. The autonomy of both elements is not affected, partly through conscious choice, partly through chance. At most there is an analogy of sound and colour at the very end: high shrieking tones and overexposures." –Friederieke Jochems
