A WALK THROUGH ALPHABET CITY is to be used as a filmic map through downtown Manhattan. On one roll of in camera edited super 8, the filmmaker takes 26 turns in order to traverse Alphabet City from 14th street and Avenue A to Houston and Avenue D. Through the use of optically printed effects, psychogeographical walking techniques, and harsh structural limitations this film attempts to rewrite its own representational imagery of the city.
