Joking: No Laughing Matter1977

"A psuedo-scientific study of why we laugh, a colorful, far-fetched history of laughter and a tongue-in-check examination of a wide variety of actual jokes. This parody was inspired by Sigmund Freud's work on joking and is replete with disgrams, laboratory experiments and 'documentary footage.' Animation, pixillation and live-action camera techniques are employed. In the end, the film asks the question: Have we, in this modern technoilogical worldm lost the ability to laughh?"
