Biography

Steven Arnold was a multimedia artist and protegé of Dali. He was born in Oakland, California, and attended the San Francisco Art Institute, graduating in 1968. His films gained attention, such as the award-winning Messages, Messages and Luminous Procuress. He studied with Dali in Spain through the seventies, returning to California in the early eighties and adopting photography as his main medium. He died in 1994.
