Biography
I first came across photography & film in 1971 and I made my first video piece in. Since then I have exhibited internationally and exhibited my work in museums galleries public spaces and latterly the Cathedral of St John the Divine in New York: two of my installations were seen by about 1.2 million people each. I became a professor of Photography & Director of the Centre for Moving Image Research, obtained a PhD & became a Lifetime Academician at the Royal West of England Academy, a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and a Lifetime Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society.
