Horse Tail Falls2018

"Horse Tail Falls" is both a play on the words in the title itself and a reference to the ephemeral "Horsetail Falls" in Yosemite, also known as the "firefall", for a phenomenon in which it glows like a bright red and orange flame under certain light conditions. 

Real-time feedback processes, magnifications and pans deconstruct a singular found photograph of Horsetail Falls, giving life to an image through a semiotics of decay.
