About
Ghost Camera is an experimental docu-dramedy about obsession, ambition, friendship, and the cost of chasing “greatness.” Set in Toronto’s indie music scene, it follows Corn Puffians, a Born Ruffians cover band whose frontman dreams of transcending imitation by inventing the “post-cover”: original music built from pre-existing songs. But as his obsession deepens during the Covid-19 lockdown, what began as a carefree collaboration between best friends unravels into tension and chaos, and his pursuit of “great art” threatens the very relationships that made the band possible.
