About
A collaboration between the artist and Jesus Olmo, video artist and screenwriter (Spain). Terminal Beach is a moving diptych accompanied by an original soundscape composed by the artist. It's an examination of how contemporary culture's motivations and ambitions have physically challenged our landscapes and will continue to do so in the not so distant future. Obscure strange events take place at Terminal Beach and it looks as if nature is about to rebel against humanity. The world seems like it reached the end of the road, all brought on by consumerism. We get the sense a disastrous event is about to take place, or perhaps it already has. Yet humanity goes on, completely oblivious of their surroundings. An inverted reality, much like a dystopian scenario J.G Ballard creates in his stories. The title is borrowed from one of his books.
