The Counterfeit Sex Series: Talking Heads and Lost Heads2009

Talking Heads and Lost Heads are part of the Counterfeit Sex Series, an ongoing project of experimental comedy shorts. Vintage mannequins on displays come to life and speak their minds about death and romance, nature and the environment, sexuality and language, among other things. The video is created entirely with film and digital stills (photographed in Amsterdam and in New York). Some of the scenes are animated with stop motion and all the dialogues are created with speech synthesis, the artificial production of human speech text.
