About
Like Him is an experimental video work / found footage machinima essay built from images recovered from my sister's Nintendo DS: photos, videos, and screenshots from 2014, fragments of a shared childhood. I wove them with clips from her favorite game, where the protagonist too searches for her lost father. I never thought I would speak about my father. We don't talk. But editing this film, I spoke to him. To her. To all of us. In the final shot, Bea appears as she is today: alone, resolute, breathtaking. End or continue?
